Prayer Meeting - 02 Feb 08

*Abby*
- glad that she is busier as business is picking up -> upcoming exhibition & more assignments (her boss is giving the company till June 2008 to see if it can pay for itself finally)
- saving up for her Europe trip in October with Chris & Chris' friend

*Andrew*
- pray for him to continue to cling on to the Lord's faithfulness despite the many struggles & challenges he faces as he studies in Singapore alone from his family who are living in Indonesia

*Chris *
- she is sleeping better
- pray for the persecuted churches for relief upon the faithful believers that they will remain faithful

*HaoGuang*
- mentally & physically tired from his 2 back-to-back missions last week- thankful for the break on CNY 1st & 2nd day
- pray for his upcoming overseas training in Thailand for the whole month of March as he is rather scared about it (it's like a final year exam & the weather can be very hot -> causing people to collapse during training)

Jason*
- his high blood pressure may mean less stress at work (a blessing in disguise)
- pray for better communication with his mum, wisdom & patience

*Jolyn*
- pray for her upcoming mission trip to Thailand, Chiangmai

*Kelly*
- loves CNY because she can clear her house of ununsed stuff- her life is a fast-paced monotony but she is contented with her simple life
- this year being her sabbath & educational year, she will be taking time to read up more of things that she has been wanting to do so
- will be heading a group of students for a project competition which will take her back to NUS & NTU for research
- her maid who has been sick is fearful for her health

*Sarah*
- pray for her for wisdom as she deals with the recent challenge at school involving her student who was injured and is in hospital
- pray for her & Keng as they have been asked to lead BS in a mature grouprecently at short notice

*Kexin*
- pray for her to continue to wait on God for her family's salvation
- pray for her to keep up with studying for the MCATs (for God's help as she manages her time & study to put God first in everything & to be a better girlfriend)

*Viona*
- thank God for His grace upon her grandpa who has been discharged from hospital on saturday(Thank you Akuou for keeping my grandpa in prayer)
- pray for opportunities to reach to her grandpa (he usually sleeps for most part of the day), for preparing of his heart to be open to the gospel
- pray for her grandma who is helping to care for her grandpa as she is also old & doesn't know Jesus

*Wanlin*
- thank God for His blessings in her recent mission trip fund-raising at Wesley as she managed to raise enough
- pray for her walk with God to be much closer as it hasn't been good & she wants to breakthrough this
- pray for preparation in her & Jolyn's upcoming mission trips to Cambodia (10 Feb - 21 Feb) & Thailand respectively
