For those who didn't come here's a brief summary of what happened in sg. I hope that it would help you to keep on praying along with us for Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.
We had a "Listening to God" session and thereafter came up with these 4 main points to pray for Thailand -
1) Pray for God's mercy and grace over the land. For God's salvation to pour out on the land and redeem the people that the ground will be soften. Acknowledge that He is in control!
2) Pray for the safety for the people who lives and works in Thailand who are caught in between this power struggle. Pray for comfort for the victims and their loved ones and their hearts would be soften too.
3) Pray for wisdom and discernment for people who are leading mission groups into Thailand that they will be sensitive to what the Spirit wants to do there. That the christians who are living there will rise up amidst these problems to shine for God.
4) Pray for the people who planted the bombs, that they will repent and see the futility of their actions. Their heart will be concerned for the innocent public who they're hurting.
For Indonesia -
We pray for comfort for the people who lost their loved ones in the Adam Air carrier that is still missing.
For Singapore -
Even though we know that Singapore has been quiet and peaceful. Let's continue to thank God for His blessings and favour and remember to not take that grace for granted.
Thereafter we had a session of personal sharing and prayer, here are the updates for everyone.
Wan Lin
1) Thank God for allowing her to experience Him, pray that she will continue surrender the specific things to Him and find the right balance in seeking Him.
2) It has been a good time, she feels that God is preparing her for something. Pray that she will persevere and keep her faith and trust in the Lord.
Huineng
1) She has been having tiring and long days at her workplace (Microsoft). Pray for strength and courage to carry on her work.
Haoguang
1) Haoguang is going to the army on Fri (12 Jan). Pray that he would use the rest of his time wisely before he goes in.
2) Pray that God will provide godly people in his camp to encourage him in Christ.
Winnie
1) Pray for motivation to do the things that God wants her to do. She has been feeling distracted and need to really focus.
2) Thank God though for a good personal retreat before the new year.
Viona
1) Thank God that her hardware project is finished
2) Thank God for His grace and favour. Her bosses were alright to extend the deadline and etc.
3) Pray that she will find a fixed time to spend time with God, currently it's quite all over the place and as and when she can do it.
4) Pray for her parents, their relationship has been bumpy for the past year. They usually sort out problems with their own human logic. She and her sister have started praying for their salvation as she's unsure.
Yvonne
1) She is currently in Malacca attending NLP till 8 Jan. Pray for her that her main focus in life would be upon the Lord and NLP is just a powerful tool.

1) Pray for wisdom to make the right decisions, directions for her further studies.
2) Pray for a closer walk with God too.
3) Thank God for the diagnosis that it is only tailbone bruise, that the condition is under control.
4) Please pray for fast healing and good rest.

1) Pray that she'll fulfill the tasks that God has given her. Do well at it too!

1) She'll be travelling to Bangkok for holiday with her friends from next Tues - Thurs (9-11 Jan). Please pray for their safety.

2) Pray for male colleague to be able to cope with workload, previous colleague who does not like boss has left and male colleague taking over the work. Have archival files to clear before the end of Jan and he's unsure of the processes.

2) To better balance school and teaching as well as other aspects of life (like going out with friends, doing 'dorm'hold chores - replace 'house')
3) Job after I graduate (pray that I can actually get sth asap, before Igrad so my visa status is more stable and I'll be able to go back toSingapore to visit you guys! I so miss all of you!)
